Welcome!

Join hundreds of women from across the East of England region for an inspirational day exploring Bible themes of wisdom and the true meaning of life.

Karen Soole, (Author of Unleash the Word and Liberation: How the Bible Exalts and Dignifies Women), will be teaching from Ecclesiastes and unpacking what it has to say to us as we navigate the many complexities and seasons of life. There will also be opportunity to sing together, pray, attend seminars on relevant topics, browse our brilliant bookstall and connect with others.

Wherever you're from, we'd love for you to join us. Big church, small church, out on the coast, from a rural village or a city dweller. Whether you're new to following Jesus or have been trusting him for years. Young, old, feeling full of faith or empty and dry. Come on your own or come with a group. All are welcome!

Karen Soole: Church in all its seasons

At times, church is a great joy, but at others it is the source of deep pain. We have great expectations and hopes of what the Church should be, but many frustrations with what it is. Our church families can experience wonderful community and fellowship but also complicated conflicts. What should we expect from the Church? How should we deal with the complexities of church life in all its seasons?

Rosie O’Donnell: God’s word: living and active

We are speaking creatures. Words and communication are ingrained in our daily life. As Christians we serve a God who speaks to us. When you stop and think about it, that really is amazing, isn’t it? Yet the Pharisees heard God's word regularly proclaimed too. How can we hear his voice regularly without becoming hard-hearted? In an age of information overload, what does it mean to hear God speak? Join us as we look to treasure and proclaim the word God has spoken to us.

Flick Hindley and Hannah Michael: Hormonally challenged?

How do our hormones interact with our ability to live godly and joyful lives? Can we have any control over the heat, sadness, rages, insomnia and even pain they sometimes seem to cause? Our hormones can have such an impact on our days and nights yet we may struggle to understand them in the context of the gospel.

Join our discussion as we take a look at whether the Bible has anything to say on this important topic and what it realistically means to pursue joy and godliness throughout the different seasons of our lives as women. No medical advice and no judgment, but lots of hope.

Alex Hillman: Planting seeds: little steps to sharing your faith

The Bible tells us to "go and make disciples", but what does that really mean? Are we all called to evangelism? How do we even go about sharing our faith in a world that seems against Jesus and His followers? Come and explore what the Bible says about why the gospel is great news for all of us and grow in some practical ways to reach others.

Leonie Lucas: A time for everything – really? How to make the most of the time God has given us

Have you ever got to the end of the day and felt like it was wasted? Or wondered where the time went? Or how to fit everything in? Join us as we consider work, rest and honouring God with our time.

Youth seminar for 14-21s - Suzie Kerrison: Lift your eyes!

Despite being promised freedom, satisfaction and happiness through the mantras #betruetoyourself #liveyourbestlife #youdoyou, many of us battle with feelings of being unfulfilled, empty, lonely and anxious. In this seminar we’ll think about what it means to be made for God’s glory, lifting our eyes to beautiful biblical truths, as we consider how to break the anti-gospel cultural norms that surround us and wrestle our hearts’ desires for self-worship.
